By Christopher J. Smith
The 2007 AutoDesk University (15th annual) experience of learning and networking with like minded people was again a great success. This year like last year’s conference was held at the Venetian Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas Nevada, a large hotel that had no problem handling the 10,000 attendees. AutoDesk learned from the 2006 event, and they had a better strategy to handle the massive group of people. All of the transitions went smoothly between sessions and events.
The course selection this year had something for everyone. My group of four from Independent Sheet Metal Co had the insight to diversify our course selection. We hardly crossed paths during the four day event; we were very busy following our class agenda’s. "
